Combat & Formations

Combat & Formations#

Combat fields a march: a formation of heroes leading troops. There are four formation slots (Formation I–IV); Formation I is the default and strongest and is the one used for events. A formation's march capacity caps how many troops it can carry.

The three troop lines#

Troops come in three lines — Assaulter, Shooter, and Rider — each trained at its own camp and gated by that camp's level plus HQ tier eligibility. The lines train at the Assaulter Camp, Shooter Camp, and Rider Camp.

Faction rock-paper-scissors#

Heroes belong to three factions, each aligned one-to-one with a troop line:

The factions form a counter triangle: Blood Rose counters Guard of Order, Guard of Order counters Wings of Dawn, and Wings of Dawn counters Blood Rose. In troop terms the same cycle reads Assaulter beats Rider, Rider beats Shooter, Shooter beats Assaulter. The advantage is encoded in heroes' faction skills — for example, Yu Chan's Dragon's Bane gives Blood Rose bonus damage to Riders and reduced damage from Shooters.
